Check out what's new + an exciting announcement

Dream Team Royale was updated again! With this version comes a better and more efficient user interface. There are also now more characters available from the in-app store. In addition, there were some background changes to the game that have set it up for something exciting. Keep reading to find out what! What's New This update brings in new, easier to use navigation. The "how to play" information has been condensed onto one page that you can scroll through. The characters and store pages are also now scrollable lists. After the last update, which enabled you to change your profile name, we got some complaints that Xbox users were unable to navigate to the name-changing feature. We have now fixed that, so it will work for everyone. Also, there are now four new characters in the store. They are the Masked Red, Masked Blue, Masked Striped Yellow, and Masked Transparent Fish Blimps.

They can all be purchased for $0.99 individually, or, for a limited time, you can get Maske…

Dream Team Royale Damage Deflectors

Update #6

Damage Deflectors are blue shields that reduce the damage done by bullets, and redirect them. To get one, you run into one that is not around an enemy, and then it is in your possession. Here is what one looks like:

Once you have picked it up, it can be used by pressing the 'd' key. This will cause one to appear around you, like this:

The Damage Deflector will stay active for ten seconds, unless you have a Stopwatch, which would prolong the ability. While it is active, the Damage Deflector causes every bullet that you are hit with to do two damage instead of the normal five, and it makes the bullets bounce off of you so they will likely hit their own shooter. When the bullet is deflected, it turns into the same shade of blue as the Damage Deflector. They have no effect on the way the player with the Damage Deflector shoots bullets or uses other power ups.

As the game is beginning, two Damage Deflectors are randomly placed. From there, they appear at random times in r…

The first two power ups announced for Dream Team Royale

Update #5

Speed Boosts and Stopwatches

Speed Boosts are blue crates randomly placed throughout the map that, when you collide with one, gives you increased speed, as the name implies. This is what one looks like:

One Speed Boost is placed at the beginning of the game, and then more are placed as the game goes on. When you run in to one, it immediately goes into effect, giving you somewhere from 100% to 250% more speed. The extra speed then goes away after five seconds have elapsed.

The other power up that has been announced today is the Stopwatch. Stopwatches are power ups that supplement other power ups by making their effect last longer. So if you have a Stopwatch when you use a Speed Boost, instead of lasting only five seconds, the effect will last five to fifteen seconds longer. Here is what a Stopwatch appears as:

No Stopwatches are placed when the game begins, but they do appear randomly at other times. To get a Stopwatch, you collide with it, which places it in yours supplies, …

Meet Dream Team Royale's second character, the Cat in the Box!

Update #4

The Cat in the Box

Unlike the Fish Blimp, the Cat in the Box is based off of something in real life, not just random dreams. The original idea came from an experiment by Austrian physicist Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger, but this was no ordinary experiment. The experiment, called Schrödinger's Cat by some, was designed to show why he didn't believe the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics. The experiment involved sealing the cat in the box along with decaying radioactive particles, a Geiger counted, and poison. The end result was supposed to make the cat both dead and alive until the box was opened, then it would become dead or alive. However, this experiment was never actually performed, as it was just for thought. So, when we made our real version of the cat in the box, we left all the extra materials out, so would could be sure whether the cat was dead or alive.

That is Axel, the most famous Cat in the Box (at least in Dream Team Royale). Here …

Watch out for Nightmares in Dream Team Royale!

Dream Team Royale Update #3

Nightmares are a dangerous part of Dream Team Royale. The first Nightmare ever spotted was caused by the fear of one of the original Fish Blimps, named Water. Water was a very talented Fish Blimp. She were constantly winning and setting more and more records, and was leading all of the other Fish Blimps through tests. One day, Water was about to go into the most strenuous test ever attempted and was beginning to grow anxious. Her anxiety and fear made the Nightmare pop up, and, out of curiosity, Water went right in. She have never been heard from again.

After this happened, the remaining 20 Fish Blimps were terrified. They refused to try any new tests for weeks after the disaster. All of the fear they built up made an innumerable amount of Nightmares come into existence. But the developers soon solved the problem. They could not completely remove them, but they did figure out how to limit the Nightmare's impact in a few ways:
Instead of poppin…

Walls and Hiding Places in Dream Team Royale

Dream Team Royale Update #2

Walls and Hiding Places

Walls are a basic aspect of the game but can make the difference between winning and losing. Walls can stop bullets from going through them, but can only take 15 hits before being destroyed. When a wall is destroyed, it breaks into tiny frags. The player who destroyed the wall also gets a wall which they can place by pressing 'w'.

At the beginning of the game, a random number from 45 to 50 walls are placed throughout the map. Those can be destroyed and moved by players, but no new walls will be added while the game is going on.

Hiding places are large metal sheets randomly found around the map. They are meant to serve as protection from bullets and a way to ambush other players. Hiding places are completely indestructible, but do randomly move themselves to prevent camping.

When the game begins, 5 hiding places are placed at random points in the map. They cannot be moved by a player, but can move themselves. No new hiding pla…

Introducing Dream Team Royale!

Welcome to Dream Team Royale!

Dream Team Royale is the perfect cross between a battle royale and an .io game!

At the beginning of the game, you and nine enemies will navigate into ten different colored beds. Once every player is in a bed, the game begins. All ten players have a different color based on the bed they got into and their color is displayed in their health bar above them. The goal then becomes to move, shoot, and use power ups to kill your enemies. Once any enemy is killed, they join your team and then you fight together. The game is won when every player is on one team, and the win is credited to the player who started as the winning team.

On March 15th 2019, a day known as World Sleep Day, the beta version will be released! Stay tuned here, on our YouTube channel, and on our Twitter account for updates and new information releases!

Be sure to check back as we release our main character on Friday the 23rd!
